Block Party Packages

The City of Dublin offers a three block party packages to civic and homeowners’ associations that includes tents, chairs, tables, trash bins, sandwich boards, barricades and a sound system. Association presidents may formally reserve the free block party package once a year and $50 for the second time within a year. The City will deliver and pick up the package from a pre-determined location in your neighborhood. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Equipment Package: The City of Dublin will offer this equipment package free of charge to each Civic Association only once per calendar year (January 1 - December 31, 2010).  No substitutions will be offered. The City of Dublin will drop off and pick up the equipment in one location. Equipment use is based on a first come, first served policy determined by availability. Only official Civic Associations in the City of Dublin may rent this equipment. This rental is only available for neighborhood-hosted and neighborhood-invited gatherings. This package is not available for personal use.

  • The three Block Party packages include the following (no substitutions will be offered):
    • 4 - 10’ x 10’ tents                  • 50 chairs                    • 2 sandwich boards (holds 24” x 24” sign)    
    • 2 trash bins/liners                • 8 tables (30” x 8’)     • 1 road barricade        • 200 watt PA system
    • 1 recycling container

  • Note: Please be prepared to remove barricade immediately if a situation should arise that would require emergency vehicle access to the area. A copy of this permit will serve as notice to the Division of Streets and Utilities, Division of Police, and Washington Township Fire Department. No object or material shall be placed in a location that could obstruct or hinder emergency vehicles or personnel.

  • Civic Association President

    The user hereby acknowledges that the above referenced equipment is in good working order, except as specifically set forth on this form; and further assumes all responsibility to repair or replace the equipment, if lost or damaged, at current replacement cost. In addition, the user hereby releases and holds harmless the City of Dublin, its officers, agents, and employees from any and all liability, including defense costs, arising out of the user’s operation or use of any equipment rented by the user and further, at his/her own expense, agrees to indemnify the City for any expenses or costs the City incurs in defending itself in any litigation arising out of the operation or use of such equipment loaned by the user.

    I agree to the above statement, and understand that I will only receive one free use of the equipment; all other times will be charged at the current rental rate. Civic Association President must accept rental agreement.
