  • Motion carried 7-0 to remove an assignment from Public Services Committee list of pending items (previously referred matter of meeting with Central Committees of political parties to discuss the need to refrain from involvement in future Council elections).
  • Consensus of Council to schedule the following meetings:
  • Land acquisition discussion (executive session) to be held on Monday, March 22 at 6 p.m.
  • Finance Committee of the Whole to meet on Monday, April 12 at 6 p.m. for quarterly update on financials.
  • Executive session (personnel matters) for Law Director contract discussion scheduled for Monday, April 26 at 6 p.m.
  • Council workshop regarding special events will be held in the second quarter, prior to the August preparation of the operating budget.
OF INTEREST
  • Members of Dublin City Council and City staff have scheduled a dinner meeting and discussion with the evaluator from the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) on Wednesday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Oscar’s Restaurant in Historic Dublin.
  • The next regularly scheduled Council meeting is on Monday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m.in Council Chambers.  (Meeting time adjusted to accommodate State of the City presentation at 6:15 p.m. at Abbey Theater.)
