City of Dublin Independence Day Celebration Parade Guidelines
Elected Officials
Regardless of locale, these officials serve the residents of Dublin, Ohio. These include Dublin City Council members, Washington Township Trustees, School Board members, county, state and federal officeholders who represent our citizens. Elected officials may participate in the parade, but may not actively campaign by wearing clothing or carrying banners that suggest they are running for office (i.e. “Vote For…”) This includes, but is not limited to, t-shirts, banners, flyers, handouts, etc.
Political Candidates
Not allowed to participate in the parade.
BUSINESSES
Dublin
Dublin businesses that are located within the corporate limits and are Dublin corporate tax payers will be allowed to participate in the parade.
Non-Dublin
Non-Dublin businesseswill only be allowed to participate in the parade if:
A. The entry provides an entertainment value.
Any non-Dublin business that depicts this year’s theme, “Dublin Through the Decades”, through music, dance, use of mascots, etc. will be considered, and would need to be agreed upon by the Parade Committee.

B. The business becomes an Independence Day Sponsor.
