Traffic, Parking and Directions for the 2009 Memorial Tournament

(Dublin, Ohio) — Dublin Police have designed a traffic management plan to ease congestion for the motoring public during the 2009 Memorial Tournament, June 1-7.

“We ask that residents as well as visitors show an extra degree of patience during tournament week, as traffic will be heavy, especially around rush hour on Thursday and Friday,” said Lt. Heinz von Eckartsberg.  “Motorists not going to the tournament should try to avoid Glick Road, Dublin Road, Brand Road, Riverside Drive and Muirfield Drive.”

During tournament week, traffic on I-270 will be heaviest heading away from the City from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

“Motorists are encouraged to avoid using I-270 in and around Dublin during evening rush hour on Thursday and Friday of Tournament week,” said von Eckartsberg.  “We suggest allowing extra time to reach destinations if traveling in this area."
