Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
For the Fiscal Year Ended December 31, 2010
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is presented in a manner designed to fairly present the financial position and results of operations of the various funds and account groups of the City. The City's Department of Finance is responsible for the accuracy of the data and the completeness and fairness of the CAFR, including all disclosures. We believe the data is accurate in all material respects and will enable the reader to gain an understanding of the City's financial activity.
The report consits of three sections:
Introductory Section, is designed to provide an easily accessible overview and summary of the City's finances, economic prospects and achievements, the City's organization chart, a list of principal officials, and the Certificate of Achievement awarded to the City for its 2010 CAFR.
Financial Section, including the Independent Auditors' Report, Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), Basic Financial Statements, Required Supplementary Information (RSI), and various other combining and individual fund financial statements and schedules including as other supplementary information.
Statistical Section, including tables of unaudited data depicting financial, economic and demographic history for the City of the last ten years, where available. This section has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of GASB Statement No. 44, Economic Condition Reporting: The Statistical Section.
