Historic Dublin IS a very quaint and charming area -- but it is unfortunately sitting on a major route to the huge industrial parks off of Frantz and Blazer. I commute from Gahanna to Dublin daily -- I choose to drive all the way over 161 as opposed to fearing for my life trying to drive 270. I have never witnessed cars coming to an abrupt stop in the next-to-the-exit lane (and even one lane left of that!) to cut in front of others and take said exit until I came to Ohio! Your highways are way too deadly for me. I also think Ohio should adopt the practice of bringing ALL directions of traffic to a stop prior to pedestrians being allowed to cross a street. People AND right-turning cars being allowed to cross at the same time?? Really?? Not a good idea, Ohioans. Halt all traffic - then cross the pedestrians. Also please do not consider taking a lane of 161 for parking spaces - even for just a few hours a day. Traffic volume will never allow for that, I'm afraid. Traffic is backed up too far even when just the Farmer's Market is going on Wednesday evenings during that season. Dublin planners must realize that your historic district is pleasant to drive through - but many of us don't intend to stop -- we're just trying to commute safely to and from work.

1. Enforce the "no parking" in front of The Brazen Head as it is used quite often as a loading zone and blocks visual ability to see the dedicated crosswalk. 2. Remove the steps and brick planting area on the front of the Vet office on West Bridge Street. This is not an entrance to the Vet's office and blocks about half of the sidewalk. 3.Remove the tennis courts from Indian Run School and then use the area for public parking. Rebuild the courts at a sight that already has tennis courts(Corazon?) and develop a public tennis center.

I would love to see some historic maps of Dublin and the surrounding areas as .pdf files on this site. It would be great if we could see a progression from "Frontier" town to today's Dublin.
