City staff and consultant conducted parking counts and rates of turnover, and pedestrian surveys in order to determine individual parking experience within the various parking lots in the four quadrants of the District. The consultant also conducted stakeholder interviews with residents, and business and property owners to provide more in-depth information about parking needs and concerns.
The final part of the data collection phase includes manager and employee surveys which will be distributed within the next week and allow individual businesses and their employees the opportunity to comment on their parking needs when coming to work.
Upon analysis of all the information collect, a public meeting will be held to review the study findings and outline the recommendations.
