$180,000 annual base salary
$16,500 in deferred compensation

Dublin City Council is scheduled to adopt legislation to formally appoint Foegler at the Monday, February 2 City Council meeting.
Foegler was one of four finalists for the position who were interviewed during a weekend-long process.
“Terry has proven himself over the years to have a firm grasp on what is required for cities to successfully evolve and to provide the kind of leadership Dublin needs to implement Council's and the community's vision for the future,” said Mayor Marilee Chinnici-Zuercher. “Council members agreed that, during these challenging economic times, Terry's experience in Central Ohio and in Dublin, partnered with his big-picture perspectives, expertise in economic development and skill in facilitating public/private development partnerships will be tremendous assets to our community's continued growth and success.”
Foegler is perhaps best known locally for his work from 1996 to 2008 as President of The Ohio State University's Campus Partners for Community Urban Development. Prior to that, he was Director of Development for the City of Dublin from 1990 to 1996. He also has worked as Director of Planning and Development for the City of Lebanon, Ohio.
Foegler received his master's degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois in 1976 and his bachelor's degree in urban geography from the University of Cincinnati in 1974.
Foegler's major accomplishments have included managing the university-led South Campus Gateway project; significant redevelopment in the OSU campus area; and, while with Dublin, successful negotiation of economic development agreements that attracted Cardinal Health, Nationwide Insurance and numerous office developments.
