US 33/SR 161 Bridge over I-270 will be closed June 24-26
(DUBLIN, Ohio)--June 23, 2011--Beginning the week of June 20th, Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will repair the US 33/SR 161 bridge over I-270.
The first weekend of work, June 24-26, the US 33/SR 161 bridge over I-270 will be closed to all traffic from 8 p.m. Friday, June 24 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 27. There will be detours at the I-270 exists at Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and Sawmill Road. Traffic on I-270 under the US 33/SR 161 bridge will remain open.
The vast majority of work will be performed on June 24-26 weekend. Work will continue during four more weekends with the final weekend of work scheduled for August 12-14. During these weekends at least one lane, possibly two, on the bridge will be open, though traffic may be delayed.
All lanes will be open and no work will be performed during the July 4th weekend, the Classic Auto Show weekend July 8 -10, and the Dublin Irish Festival weekend August 5-7.
