Dublin Police charges driver in connection to Historic Dublin pedestrian accident
(DUBLIN, Ohio) - Dublin Division of Police charged Lourdes R. Dudaney, 49, of Dublin on Tuesday with vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter and failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk after her car struck Stephanie M. Auer on Dec. 28, 2010. Auer later died.
Dudaney’s vehicle struck Auer shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of North and N. High Street.
Vehicular homicide is a misdemeanor of the first degree and carries a possible maximum fine of $1,000 and 180 days in jail. Vehicular manslaughter is a misdemeanor of the second degree and carries a possible maximum fine of $750 and 90 days in jail. Failure to yield to a pedestrian is a minor misdemeanor and carries a possible maximum fine of $150.
