ICF Chairman Visits Top 7 Intelligent Community Dublin, Ohio

Top Intelligent Community to be Announced June 3, 2011

Dublin, Ohio Intelligent Community Forum Chairman (ICF) and Co-Founder John Jung will visit the City of Dublin March 28 and 29 to meet with City officials, business and community leaders to learn more about Dublin in preparation for the Intelligent Community of the Year announcement on June 3, 2011.

The City is hosting a public reception for Jung on Monday, March 28 at the Dublin Community Recreation Center from 5 - 7 p.m.

Jung‘s visit to the city and several Dublin-based businesses will further validate Dublin as a Top 7 Intelligent Community. This additional information will be reviewed by an international jury of former Intelligent Communities of the Year, government officials, business leaders, academics and consultants involved in the Intelligent Community movement.  The jury ranks each of the communities, and ICF combines this qualitative ranking with the quantitative scoring of the research company to produce the selected Top Community of the Year. The 2011 theme is “Health in the Intelligent Community.”

“It is quite an honor to be named one of the Top Seven Intelligent Communities in the world,” said Dublin City Manager Marsha Grigsby. “We look forward to presenting our smart city to John Jung. This award prominently displays the attributes of the City of Dublin, Ohio on an international stage.”

ICF co-founder John G.
