Tim Lecklider Re-elected Mayor of Dublin, Amy Salay to Serve as Vice Mayor

(DUBLIN, Ohio) - Dublin City Council unanimously elected Tim Lecklider to serve a second two-year term as mayor at its 2012 organizational meeting held Jan. 9. Amy Salay was re-elected vice mayor by her fellow Council members.

Lecklider, an attorney with the Ohio Attorney General's office, has served on City Council since 2002. He was first elected mayor in 2010. Prior to that, he served two terms as vice mayor from 2004 to 2008. In addition to City Council, Lecklider has chaired the Planning & Zoning Commission and served on the Board of Zoning Appeals. He holds a BA from Bowling Green State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University. He and his wife Sharon have two daughters, Kathryn and Lauren.

Salay began serving on Council in 2002 and was elected to her first term as vice mayor in 2010. She previously served on the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Planning & Zoning Commission. Salay holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University. She and her husband Stephen have two children, Rachel and Stephen.

Also at the meeting, at-large Council members Marilee Chinnici-Zuercher, Rick Gerber and Michael Keenan, who won re-election in November, took the oath of office to serve additional four-year terms.
