Socius 1, LLC Seeks Expansion and Relocation in Dublin
(DUBLIN, Ohio) - Socius1, LLC, a software consulting firm specializing in software solutions and services is seeking to relocate and expand its corporate headquarters currently located at the Dublin Entrepreneur Center (DEC).
According to Dublin’s Economic Development Manager Colleen Gilger, Socius chose to remain in Dublin after exploring real estate options in other Central Ohio communities. Gilger said Socius is another DEC success story where the DEC provides the infrastructure, entrepreneurial collaboration and assets needed for innovation, growth and expansion.
Dublin City Council will hear the first reading of a proposed economic development agreement Monday, October 24, which includes a four-year, 10 percent performance incentive on withholdings collected (2012-2015), capped at $19,000 for the term of the agreement, in consideration of the company retaining 23 jobs, creating 13 jobs in Dublin by the end of 2016, and signing a lease through 2016.
Socius has been in Dublin since 2000. In addition to Dublin, Socius serves more than 1000 clients world-wide through operations in Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, San Jose, CA and Kansas City, KS.
Council will vote on the EDA at the November 14 meeting.
