Architectural Appeal Application
This application can be submitted as an appeal to a denied building permit if the denial was a result of the proposed building model not meeting architectural diversity requirements.
A barricade permit allows residents having a block party to request barricades for neighborhood block parties.
Certificate of Zoning Plan Approval (patios)
The Certificate of Zoning Plan Approval (CZPA) is used for all types of patios, storage sheds less than 200 square feet, pergolas or trellises less than 200 square feet, relocation of air conditioning units and any type of driveway configuration modifications.
In order to apply and obtain approval for a CZPA, the applicant must include a full site plan that is drawn to an engineer's scale (i.e. - 1" = 20'), showing and labeling all property lines, building lines, easements, no build zones, etc. All existing structures need to be shown on the site, with the proposed work dimensioned and labeled, with the distances from the proposed work to all property lines shown and labeled.
The approximate turnaround time for an Certificate of Zoning Plan Approval is from one to two weeks. The applicant will be notified by telephone upon completion of the review. The residential fee is $60.00, to be paid by either cash or check at the time that the approved CZPA is picked up.
FenceA fence permit is required prior to installation of any type of fence within commercial or residential districts within the City of Dublin.
Garage SaleA garage sale permit allows the sale of goods in residential-zoned districts for a set time period not to exceed three days. Guidelines.
A home occupation permit allows a home-based business in a residential-zoned area within set parameters.
A peddler/solicitor permit is needed to solicit funds or sale items door-to-door in residential districts.
A charitable/group fund raising permit is required for door-to-door solicitation within the City of Dublin.
A right-of-way solicitation permit allows solicitation by charitable organizations from public right-of-way.
A seasonal business permit is needed for temporary sale of seasonal items not to exceed 40 days annually.
A permanent sign permit is issued for permanent signs.
A temporary sign permit is issued for signs temporary in nature not to exceed one year. Such signs include temporary development signs, commercial for sale or lease, grand opening banners, and special event signage.
A tree removal permit is needed prior to removal of any protected tree with the exception of trees on privately owned residential property, which are not located in no-disturb zones.
