Special Duty Request Form

When requesting a Special Duty officer please complete the form below or call 614-410-4800 and ask to speak to the Special Duty coordinator. It is a good idea to call at least 3 weeks in advance of the job. The job will be made available to all officers and it is up to them to sign up for these jobs; the job is assigned to an officer the week before job date.

Specific Details:

Our rates are currently: (effective September 1, 2008)

• $37.00 an hour for security and/or construction jobs

• $43.00 an hour for a supervisor

• $7.00 an hour for a cruiser

We have a three (3) hour minimum

If the job requires four (4) or more officers, a supervisor will be required

Payment can be be made directly to the officer after the job is completed

If you need to cancel the officer; it is a good idea to call our dispatch center at 614-410-4911 at least two (2) hours prior to the job and ask them to contact the officer for the cancellation. If you do not cancel the officer in sufficient time, you will be changed a three (3) hour show-up fee.
