Police negotiate surrender of suspect, secure scene after fight and lock-out

At 9:35 p.m., on Friday, Feb., 27, Dublin Police received a 911 call from 5790 Killiney Lane.

According to Police, Alexander M. Cook, 22, locked himself inside the home after a fight in which his brother, Adam Cook, 21, alleged his brother Alex shot a gun. Adam also told police he took the gun from Alex and ran out of the house. Neither brother was wounded during the incident.

Dublin Police, with the assistance of the Columbus Police S.W.A.T. Unit, was able to negotiate Alex's surrender and secure the scene. He is now in police custody.
