Sunoco in Dublin was robbed before store clerk was killed
(DUBLIN, Ohio) – The Dublin Division of Police have confirmed that the Sunoco, located at 201 W. Bridge Street, was robbed by two suspects at gunpoint at approximately 11:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13.
The store clerk, identified as Mohamed S. Hassan, was approached outside of the store by two suspects. During the course of the robbery, one of the suspects shot and killed the store clerk.
Suspect one has been described as a white male, wearing black clothing and a black ski mask, between 5’11”-6’2”, and brandishing a handgun.
The second suspect has been described as white male, wearing black clothing and a black ski mask, between 5’6”-5’8”, and also brandishing a handgun.
There is no known suspect vehicle(s) at this time.
Police are looking into the possibility that these are the same suspects from the Max & Erma’s (located at 411 Metro Place North) robbery that took place at approximately 12:23 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. The suspects from that robbery are two white males, late teens or early 20s, wearing all black clothing and ski masks, and carrying handguns. One suspect was approximately 5’8” and the other was approximately 6’. The suspects exited the back door of the restaurant. Max and Erma’s was closed at the time and no injuries were reported.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
