American Political Spectrum

Examine and discuss the basic values and ideas that underlie various influential American political movements, such as conservatism, neo-conservatism, liberalism, progressivism, libertarianism, the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street. We do not debate or evaluate the various positions. Rather, our emphasis is on developing a better understanding of each position in order to make more informed political decisions. Participants take a brief questionnaire that helps determine where their own beliefs and values fall on the political spectrum
