This course provides instructor candidates the necessary skills to teach the American Red Cross Parent and Child Program, the 6 levels of the Learn-to-Swim program, Longfellow's Whales Tales, and Community Water Safety. Attendance is required at all sessions (no exceptions.) This is the required certification for swim instructors at all Dublin Community Pools.
Prerequisites:
1. Minimum age of 16 at the end of the class (proof of age must be brought to the first class).
2. Successfully complete 25 yards of the following six strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, and butterfly.
Ages: 16 & up

Non-Residents or Residents (Proof of Residency i.e., Drivers License or utility bill will be required at the time of registration to receive the residency rate) may register by stopping at the Dublin Community Recreation Center front Desk during regular business hours.
A Visa or MasterCard is required for billing and to confirm registration of classes. City of Dublin software ensures the security of credit card numbers.
