Fire Hydrant Flushing
City of Dublin Streets & Utilities maintains the public fire hydrants. Washington Township Fire Department inspects and flushes all public hydrants annually. All hydrants are flushed in the spring and hydrants at the end of a service line are flushed again in the fall.
Water coming into a residence or business may appear rusty after flushing. When this occurs all water sources in the home should be run until the water appears clear.
